Community Guidelines

BOOROCK LLC

Effective Date: March 2, 2026

Last Updated: May 17, 2026

1.  SCOPE AND APPLICABILITY

These Guidelines apply to all activity on the Platform, including: communications through the Platform’s messaging system; reviews and ratings submitted for Patrons and Providers; profile content, photos, and business descriptions; job requests, quotes, and booking activities; and conduct during and after service appointments.

These Guidelines also apply to conduct that occurs off the Platform when it directly relates to a Platform interaction, including conduct during a service visit to a Patron’s property and communications initiated through means other than the Platform’s messaging system following a Platform introduction.

2.  REVIEWS AND RATINGS

Integrity Requirements

Reviews and ratings are among the most important tools on the Platform. They inform booking decisions and drive accountability. To protect their integrity:

Prohibited Review Content

Reviews and responses to reviews may not contain:

Review Retaliation

Using a review or rating - or the threat of one - to coerce the other party into a particular outcome is a serious violation of these Guidelines. Specifically: Providers may not threaten a negative Patron review in order to obtain additional payment or concessions. Patrons may not threaten a negative Provider review in order to obtain a discount, refund, or additional services.

3.  PATRON CONDUCT

During a Service Appointment

Non-Discrimination

Patrons may not refuse service from, communicate hostility toward, or take any adverse action toward a Provider based on race, color, religion, national origin, sex, age, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, or any other protected characteristic.

Payment Integrity

Patrons may not initiate chargebacks or payment disputes in bad faith. Chargebacks for services that were actually performed, initiated for the purpose of obtaining free services, constitute a violation of these Guidelines and the Patron Terms of Service.

4.  PROVIDER CONDUCT

Professional Standards

Non-Discrimination

Providers may not refuse service to, decline bookings from, or provide inferior service to any Patron based on race, color, religion, national origin, sex, age, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, or any other protected characteristic.

Profile Accuracy

Provider profiles, business descriptions, service areas, and portfolio photographs must accurately represent the Provider’s actual business, qualifications, and past work. Misleading, false, or outdated profile content is a violation of these Guidelines and the Provider Service Agreement.

5.  COMMUNICATIONS

All communications between Patrons and Providers in connection with a Platform booking should occur through the Platform’s messaging system where practicable. This protects both parties by maintaining a record of all communications related to the job.

Communications on the Platform may not be used to: (a) share personal contact information prior to a booking being confirmed; (b) arrange payment outside the Platform for work initiated through the Platform; (c) spam, solicit, or send unsolicited commercial messages; or (d) engage in any of the prohibited conduct described in Section 6.

6.  PROHIBITED CONDUCT - ALL USERS

The following conduct is prohibited for all Platform users and may result in immediate account suspension or termination:

7.  SAFETY

The safety of everyone on the Platform is a priority. If You feel unsafe during a Platform interaction, you should leave the situation immediately if you can do so safely and contact emergency services if necessary. You may report safety concerns to BOOROCK at safety@boorock.com at any time. BOOROCK takes safety reports seriously and will investigate promptly.

Providers must not bring to a Patron’s property any person who is not disclosed as Provider Personnel on their Platform profile. Patrons must not ask Providers to perform work that requires entering areas of the property that would be unreasonably hazardous.

8.  REPORTING VIOLATIONS

If You believe another user has violated these Guidelines, You may report the conduct by: (a) using the “Report” function available within the Platform; or (b) contacting BOOROCK at conduct@boorock.com with a description of the issue, the relevant booking or account information, and any supporting evidence.

BOOROCK will review all reports in good faith. BOOROCK may not be able to share the outcome of its review with the reporting party, but all credible reports will be investigated.

9.  ENFORCEMENT

BOOROCK enforces these Guidelines at its reasonable discretion. Consequences for violations may include, depending on the severity and frequency of the conduct:

BOOROCK may take immediate action without prior notice for serious violations, including conduct involving safety threats, fraud, or illegal activity. Repeated violations of lesser severity may result in escalating consequences.

BOOROCK’s enforcement decisions are final with respect to the Platform. They do not limit either party’s ability to seek other legal remedies.

10.  UPDATES TO THESE GUIDELINES

BOOROCK may update these Community Guidelines from time to time. Material changes will be posted on the Platform with a revised “Last Updated” date and communicated to users through the Platform or by email. Continued use of the Platform following an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Guidelines.
